East London Design Show (ELDS) was set up in 1994 by glassmaker Della Tinsley and photographer Gideon Cleary. The show is now an annual event that traditionally takes place over the first weekend of December and includes a special VIP preview.
Taking place in the area with the richest concentration of artists and designers in the UK, emerging and established designers apply to take part and are handpicked for the quality of their products. The show profiles the very best of Britains product, interior and fashion designers - with many exhibitors using the event to launch new work , ELDS has become the place to spot design stars of the future.
East London Design Show has moved to it's new home in the impressive T1 Building as part of Brick Lane's Truman Brewery complex.
We welcome applications from artists, performers and designermakers to take part in our other events throughout the coming year.
